The best way to prepare for any live event is to request a sample of the item ahead of time to ensure your tools and materials are compatible with the surface. This will help you feel ultra prepared and confident when you're working on site and under pressure 🙌

One major part of my life is my faith in Jesus 🙌
There were tons of ups and downs, and I am not perfect, but where I stand today is firmly on my faith. 🤍
Over the last 6 months, I've been feeling a pull to help other women. I didn't know why or even with what! I've had so many ideas, I've been trying different things, but deep down the quiet little voice was always the same..."This is not it - yet." 👀
It's scary listening to the little voice, or sensing the gut feeling, or feeling the heaviness on your heart. But once you start paying attention, you realize this: God is talking to you; so you should listen. 🤲
This weekend I announced something special to my entire email list. I created a creative membership for other Christian women who feel like they need help listening to God, who have a busy, consistently scheduled, crazy hectic life, who have a want and a desire to lean into God's word, but feel stuck in their routine or distracted by all the to-do's of their careers, families, businesses, or children. I can relate. 🙋🏻‍♀️🥴
Again, none of us are perfect. Each day brings a whole slew of things to do, people to see, goals to accomplish. ✍🏻
But if you don't *make* time to sit in prayer, reflect on what you receive, and delve into the Bible, then you know that you need help - and that's what I'm offering. 🫶
I'm combining art & faith in my new membership. It's a place to lean into our belief, a place to practice creativity, a place to learn more about the word of God, and a place to grow in supportive community with other Christian women. I'm so so excited about this - and He is too 🙌

The busyness of that hashtag mom life hustle can make us moms feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and in dire need of a mental break. Some things I've learned to adjust are these:
- When making everyone's absolute favorite meal and having to stand in the kitchen for 2 hours, set up your laptop with your favorite show. (For me it's Friends.)
- Ask your kids for help in the kitchen - even the little ones! 🫶 My youngest is not shown on video but he helped me wash the leftover dishes and even wash the frying pan beforehand.
- Let your spouse know when you need a little mental break and some alone time to just exist without having to answer a million and one questions related to Legos or Star Wars or Fortnite. Sometimes he knows without me having to say it, which is a blessing 🩵
- Find that time for yourself. Nobody is going to find it for you, and that's also not their job to do so! Carve it out in your calendar, planner, chalkboard or phone cloud. Whatever it is, whenever it is, dedicate that slot of time for yourself as if it's your child's doctor's appointment that you absolutely cannot miss. For me, this usually looks like a solo trip to Barnes and Noble 📚 plus maybe some ice cream or frozen yogurt. It could also look like (re)reading your favorite book, getting a mani/pedi, taking a slow walk around the block, or going to the gym for a quick workout sesh.
I'm here to let my fellow mamas wearing multiple hats and working their butts off know that you are not alone in your hustle and bustle ✨at all✨ I see you 👋 and I feel you.
